20 Jul 2001: An open letter from the owner:

As owner/operator of The Art of Custom Framing, I felt it necessary to tell you a little something about myself and also plant some seeds in your mind. In this day and age the need for volunteers for emergency services is great through-out the U.S. Here in New Jersey the need for volunteers for fire and first aid services is at an all time high for new members. I myself have been a volunteer firefighter for 31 years. I have been fire chief of our fire department for 15 years now. If it weren't for the volunteer firefighters and first aiders in your community who would you call in your time of need? Consider becomming a member of one of these services in your community where-ever you live. As a fire chief or a firefighter we are on duty 24 hrs per day, 7 days/week, 365 days per year. Whether you work for someone or own your own business you can find time to help your neighbors.

Being a custom frame shop and art gallery, think about all your framed art and family history that you have on your walls. What would happen if your home caught fire and all that was lost? Think how you would feel! Is your home fire safe? Do you know what to look for in your home that may be a fire waiting to happen? If you would like some information, just click on the banner located near the bottom of this page for answers to questions you might have.

Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Ron Pontrelli, owner of The Art of Custom Framing, firefighter, fire chief, and best of all - "a volunteer in my community".
